MG SUVs Get Cheaper After GST Revision
MG Motor India has introduced fresh price cuts on its internal combustion SUV lineup, passing on the benefits of the recent GST reduction to customers. The move has brought down prices across the board, making MG’s SUV range more competitive ahead of the festive season.
Revised Prices and Savings
- MG Astor: Now starts at ₹9.65 lakh (ex-showroom), which is not only cheaper than before but even lower than its original launch price back in 2021.
- MG Hector: Entry-level variant now priced at ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a reduction of ₹49,000.
- MG Gloster: The biggest cut of all — down from ₹42.63 lakh to ₹39.80 lakh (ex-showroom), translating into direct savings of ₹2.83 lakh.
Festive Offers Sweeten the Deal
In addition to price reductions, MG is offering customer benefits worth up to ₹3.5 lakh, along with financing options like 100% on-road funding and a three-month EMI holiday.
Why This Matters
With SUVs now starting below ₹10 lakh for the Astor and going just under ₹40 lakh for the Gloster, MG aims to attract a wider buyer base and boost festive demand.
